As you all know we have this wonderful Summer cup up & running and we're almost at the end. For the past 2 months many Gather-Network players have fought for the first and grand prize the new Xbox 360®. However only one player will get it packed and send straight to his home.
... Please note that the Anti-Cheat team and the Helper team along with the Administrators will have a final deccission regarding the top20. *
Now, the new Xbox 360 has many many new features such as a built-in WiFi which allows you download or stream HD movies, TV episodes, games from Xbox LIVE Marketplace in 1080p and 5.1 surround sound from anywhere in the house. The 250GB Hard drive also allows you to save everything begining from games, movies, levels, demos and much more.
Another very cool feature is the Kinect. The Kinect is a small camera that uses an IR to track you in 3D space, meaning it makes YOU the controller :). It has an invisible infrared light which thanks to that can spotlight the whole room. One more cool things is that you can play along with one of your best buddys.

Month ago the organisation of MeetYourMakers decided to split their Sweden Counter-Strike 1.6 devision. After that they started to look for a new team to join and to 'present' them on the big events. Couple of days ago they found one. The 'chosen' team is the Russian [u.s.b] which has 3 former members of the team UNiTED. They decided to split after Murat "Arbalet" Zhumashevich stopped sponsoring them. In this way 3 of the ex-players united with other 2 Russians and made [u.s.b], which are now part of MYM. The team will take part in e-Stars Seoul and of course in the WCG finals which are going to be held in LA. They qualified for there after winning 2:0 versus forZe.
The new team of MeetYourMakers looks like this:
Dmitri 'hooch' Bogdanov Eduard 'ed1k' Ivanov Roman 'ROMJkE' Makarov Alexandr 'xek' Zobkov Andrey 'XomA' Mironenko
Several reports in Sweden on Saturday, 24th of July, indicated that H2k Gaming and their CS team would separate due to their very poor relationship. They have recently released a statement to infirm the rumors.
"We hereby want to deny any rumors that have been spread out by several websites that our Counter-Strike 1.6 team would leave the organization,"
"We also would like to mention that our aforementioned team is still on contracts for another period of 9 months."
Furthermore, they have infirmed the rumors regarding the team being sold to someone in Africa:
"We are also denying our team is sold to someone in Africa. This was completely a (5 minutes) made up story to proof you how ridiculous some community websites are"
The CS team will participate at the WCG Nordic Finals from 5 to 8 August in Helsinki, Finland with the following team:
Markus "pronax" Wallsten Richard "xizt" Landström Niklas "niko" Johansson Frey "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström Emil "FYRR73" Karlsson
