The organisation behind "The Gathering" announced an award of € 10 000 for Counter Strike. The edition of the well-known Norway LAN tournament for 2010 year will start on the 31st of March and will finish on the 4th of April. The tournament will be held in "Vikingskipet Olympic Arena", Hamar. The number of the teams which will participate is 16 - 4 invited by the organisators, 4 classified from the BYOC and 8 received the right to take part through the qulifying tournament.
The prize fund of € 9,775 will be spread in this way:
1. - € 6,100 + 5 tickets for DreamHack Summer + Wildcard for DreamHack Summer Main Tournament
2. - € 2,445
3. - € 1,220
• According to the official site of the tournament, the organisators will try to invite the best 4 teams for the year.
